Classes were shortened today due to our 50th anniversary Pep Rally! Students finished up yesterday’s assignment. Students should use the notes and resources on this blog to prepare for tomorrow’s quiz. Parents look out for progress reports which will be distributed tomorrow.

Today we learned about population distribution, climate and natural resources in Europe. If you were absent please use the resources below. Please remember we will take a quiz Friday. Friday’s quiz will cover all geography standards learned thus far.

a. Explain the major concerns of Europeans regarding the issues such as acid rain in Germany, air pollution in the United Kingdom, and the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl, Ukraine.

• How are specific European countries addressing specific environmental concerns (acid rain in Germany, and air pollution in England)?

Draw a colorful illustration of one of the physical features that we have studied. Include a short greeting (title).

Inside Flap:

Write a note to your family as if you have visited some of the features that we have studied in Europe. (Include descriptions for at least 3 of the features.) Don’t forget to draw & color the stamp!
