This week we will begin reviewing for the GA Milestones End of Grade Assessment!

Students should visit the blog daily for at least 15-20 minutes. Please click the link entitled: 6th Grade SS Milestones Review (above in blue).

Wednesday (@ 8:00)  is the final tutoring session before the Milestones Assessment will be administered.

Friday we will take another Mock Assessment to determine students strengths and weaknesses.

Today you will take an assessment to that covers all standards we have learned in Social Studies this year. You are to work quietly and independently. Your grade will be entered as a test grade! Here are the directions:

1. Go to the I-Respond Web App
2. For class ID enter: kasisi.brown
3. For PIN enter: Your student ID #

Reminders: Do not look at anyone else’s screen and do NOT talk!! If you have questions, please raise your and I will be happy to assist you!

After you have finished, please begin reviewing by using the 6th Grade Milestones Review tab on this blog.

You will create a travel brochure (instructional pamphlet, booklet, handout, magazine or newspaper article) detailing all that you have learned about Australia.

You should include the following topics:

• Physical features
• History
• Location
• Climate
• Natural Resources
• The Aborigines
• The European Invasion
• Government
• Economics

This assignment will be due by the end of class on Thursday March 24, 2016.
